More than 100 domestic and foreign exhibitiors of healthy food, eco products and cosmetics free of animal testing will be featured themselves at the 10th jubilee ZeGeVege Festival on Friday, September 8, 2017 (9 A.M. – 9 P.M.) and on Saturday, September 9, 2017 (9 A.M. - 7 P.M.).
The festival also offers visitors a diverse and plentiful program of vegan cooking workshops, plus lectures focused on veganism, ecology, and sustainable living. During both days of the festival, various dance groups - headlined by sustainable living and animal rights advocates GiankSyle Dance Crew coming from Rome - will entertain and delight thousands of attendees.
Nine restaurants will accommodate and thrill visitors with ice cream, raw cakes, kebabs, hemp burgers, falafel and soyannaise burgers served on a farl, noodles with wok vegetables, and more delicious vegan meals. The exhibitions will also offer dried pumpkin noodles, energy bars, soy milk, almonds, coconut and Indian nuts, mushroom coffee, raw chocolate, pumpkin sandwiches, jute handbags and numerous other products of interest.
Animal Friends has also prepared a promotional video for the 10th ZeGeVege Festival to highlight the many reasons why you should be among the 40,000+ visitors at Zagreb's main square for these two days.
The 10th edition of this unique Croatian festival, which exclusively features plant-based, environmentally friendly products, is sponsored by President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, Croatian Parliament President Gordan Jandrokovic, the Croatian Parliament Committee on Environmental Protection and Nature, the City of Zagreb and Mayor Milan Bandic, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Nature, the City Office for Agriculture and Forestry, and the Andrija Stampar Teaching Institute of Public Health.
