Protest Against the Canadian Seal Slaughter

Helpless baby seals, some as young as two weeks, are clubbed or shot to death for their fur. Many of 275,000 baby seals will even be skinned alive or will die trapped under the ice after being injured.

We invite you to the protest against the slaughter of seals in Canada, on March 14, 2009, at 12 noon in front of the Canadian Embassy, Gjure Dezelica 4, Zagreb.

Protests will take place around the world, calling for a boycott of the Olympics in Vancouver 2010 and for the European ban on import of seal fur.

Please write to the Vancouver Olympic Organizing Committee and demand that they help bring an immediate end to the seal slaughter.
