Cupavci (Coconut Chocolate Squares)
Ingredients: for the dough – 250 g flour, 250 g sugar, 100 g vegetal margarine, 2.5 dl soy milk, 1 package baking powder, 40-100 g coconut flakes, 1 package of vanilla sugar; for the frosting – 300 g cooking chocolate, 150 g vegetal margarine, 10 tablespoons soy milk; 200 g coconut flakes
Preparation: For the dough, mix well all the ingredients except for the coconut flakes. When the dough is smooth, stir in the coconut flakes. Do not use electric mixer, only stir well. Pour the dough onto a greased baking sheet and bake at 180°C. It is done when the edges begin to separate from the baking sheet. Do not open the oven while baking. Let cool and cut into cubes. For the frosting, melt margarine and chocolate on low flame, add soy milk. When it starts to boil, remove from the flame. Dip the cubes into warm chocolate frosting and roll in coconut flakes.
