How One Little Fighter Became Flin
With fear and great curiosity, day by day, Flin slowly got himself introduced to the house, the garden, the street and entire Josipovac. It was very hard for me to watch him adjusting after all that time to the world which should have belonged to him all along and to see that freedom that he should have had from the first day of his life for him became reality just now.
It could be seen from the first moment that Flin is a fighter. After all the suffering he and his little friends had gone trough he stepped into the new world pretty courageously - on the road to home, in spite of a long drive and in spite of us, to him unknown humans, he felt freedom and simply began to play! It didn't take us long to get his endless confidence and love, but all those situations, so common for us, were something completely new to him.
He discovered and learnt something new each day and we did our best to make Flin one big, big cuddler.
Our coddle is on full throttle from the morning to the evening - he is full of energy, he runs and he is very playful. He loves taking walks and nature, loves to play with other dogs, but he loves cats too, although he hasn't found out to this very day why they constantly run away from him. He loves children very much and patiently tolerates all their pinching, he loves to eat and he is always looking for a snack. And so, after a year, Flin has changed completely - happy and joyful and I am glad about the fact that it was us who got an opportunity to change his life and give him all our love. It seems to me it couldn't have been any different than this - we are his and he is ours. It would be good if he could tell his side of the story, but I think that the look of his eyes and merry wagging of his tail tell it all!
